	The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (Extended Edition Box Set) [DVD] Buy used from: £16.00 FOTR: Saruman standing on the tower of Orthanc controlling the weather; The Balrog; Lothlorien. TTT: Gollum's schizo scene; the battle for Helms Deep; RotK: battle for Minas Tirith. BRILLIANT!

	Being John Malkovich [DVD] [2000] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £1.24 That puppet show Craig performed about the monk and the nun who were pretending they were making love... that scene was genuinely beautiful this time!
	The Testament Of Dr Mabuse [DVD] [1933] Buy new: £17.98 / Used from: £9.20 A German movie about an evil genious who wants to control German society through hypnosis and terror... absolutely frightening when you realize the movie came out the same year Hitler rose to power.

	The Big Lebowski [DVD] [1998] Buy new: £7.48 / Used from: £2.00 Second best comedy ever. The Dude is stoned the entire movie, but man his view on life is the only logical one when you're surrounded by the characters that he has to put up with.

	The Insect Societies (Harvard paperbacks) by Edward O. Wilson Buy used from: £16.50 ... you're at it, go read a bit about how bee, termite and antcolonies work! There are actually FARMING ants, that grow crops of fungi! I kid you not! And you thought WE invented agriculture! No way!

	Blade II [DVD] [2002] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £0.06 No story they say? Well they DON'T UNDERSTAND! Being a vampire IS constant war, forced to be a predator forever, therefore only actionscenes can show what it means to be a vampire, story can't.
	Alien Resurrection - 2-disc Special Edition [DVD] [1997] Buy new: £7.87 / Used from: £0.87 The absolute beauty of gore. Only now did I realize how tragicly beautiful it is Ripley, herself a hybridfreak, has to abort her monstrous child, I mean it's still her BABY
