	Akira - The Ultimate Collection [1991] [DVD] Buy used from: £10.00 There's a lot of anime crap out there, (as i spent enough money finding out).. so just to keep you from making the same mistakes i did, here's a list of the ones that really are worth while getting.
	Ghost In The Shell [DVD] [1995] Buy used from: £0.59 Questions the existence of our souls as human beings... i was flabagasted when watching this
	Perfect Blue [1999] [DVD] by Junko Iwao Buy used from: £7.45 Pure psychological suspence, and borderline confusing at parts, but great flic none the less.
	Metropolis [DVD] [2001] Buy used from: £4.98 another great film, again clear that it comes from manga comic roots... which only makes it better
	Blood - The Last Vampire [2000] [DVD] Buy new: £3.98 / Used from: £2.38 Again a perfect balance between action and suspense... a prime example of the things that the western studios still have to experiment with
	Blackjack [1993] [DVD] Buy used from: £5.00 A very calm feature, giving you enough time to think about all psychological details going on
	The Professional - Golgo 13 [1983] [DVD] Although there are some things i disagree about with this feature, i is nevertheless a great film, particularly the elite character design.
	Princess Mononoke [DVD] [2001] Buy used from: £6.70 Miyazaki is probably one of the most creative minds after Disney that has ever lived... step away from the psychological thrillers above and into a magical tale of courage and affection.
	Kiki's Delivery Service [DVD] [1989] Buy used from: £4.50
	Castle In The Sky [DVD] [1986]
	Ninja Scroll [DVD] [1995] Buy used from: £0.98 This one more a typical example of an anime crowd pleaser: violence, monsters, sex, magic and half 'n half story. That said, it is the best crowd pleaser out there which is why it's on the list.
	Lupin The Third - The Pursuit Of Harimao [DVD] [2002] Buy used from: £9.75 The lupin features are amongst the goofiest and most fun to watch, one way to describe them is as an anime, ocean's eleven version of the looney tunes.
	The Castle Of Cagliostro [1980] [DVD] Buy used from: £3.95 Another great Lupin flic...currently there's also secret of Twilight Gemini, but this one is not as good as CoC and PoH which is why i'm not posting it. More lupin features should be coming over soon.
	Kai Doh Maru [2001] [DVD] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £1.84 My gut proved trustworthy when i got this one... brilliant animation, gripping action and all out beautiful setting...
	Cowboy Bebop: The Movie [DVD] [2001] Buy new: £4.88 / Used from: £2.99 It's been a while since i've seeen this one, but i remember being quite impressed...can't wait for the series to come out.
	Neon Genesis Evangelion - Vol. 1 [DVD] Buy used from: £2.76 Now for the series: and starting with the most famous of all: NGE.This is the first of a series of eight DVD's. Also there are the 2 full lenght features: 'death and rebirth' and 'end of evangelion'
	Martian Successor Nadesico - Vol. 1 [DVD] Buy used from: £1.54 First in a series of six. This is one of the best parodies in the world and will have you laughing you ass off, but it is a parody, so a minimum of knowledge of anime is required to enjoy it fully...
	Noir - Vol. 1 [2003] [DVD] Buy new: £5.97 / Used from: £2.60 First of six: I think this might be good, it's about two women who are very skilled in killing people. They go on a quest to find out their past, opening doors and bothering people they shouldn't.
	Samurai X - Betrayal [1999] [DVD] Buy new: £3.98 / Used from: £1.16 This OVA is one of the most brilliant pieces of samurai anime out there. Deceptively calm, you are immersed in the corrupt and dangerous world of the Tokugawa era. Brilliant animation! 1st of 4
