	The Sopranos: Complete HBO Season 4 [1999] [DVD] Buy new: £15.88 / Used from: £11.49 Any of this superb series will do - just chose this one randomly as they are a dream. Actually this maybe the best TV series ever.
	The Crow Road [DVD] Buy used from: £20.00 Yet another series that shows great BBC drama - so much rubbish and then gems like this. The story of loss, the story of a family, a beautiful feeling and made programme.
	Deadwood: Complete HBO Season 1 [2004] [DVD] Buy new: £11.28 / Used from: £8.00 Ian McShane giving one of the most powerful TV acting performances! Wow Ian McShane! Brilliant gritty - how the west was really won.
	Holding On [DVD] Buy new: £15.88 / Used from: £14.22 Tragedies, lives falling apart at the seams, David Morrisey brilliant again, BBC drama brilliant again, simply powerful and simply wonderful.
	Buffy The Vampire Slayer - Series 1-7 - Complete [DVD] Buy used from: £83.00 What can you say? Great fun, great story lines, great action, great humour, great character development, great stories, great script. A master class in sheer escapist TV. Must see TV.
	The House of Cards Trilogy [1990] [DVD] Buy new: £11.88 / Used from: £7.98 Another master class from BBC, another master class in acting from Ian Richardson. Political satire at its cleverest best.
	Oz : Complete Season 1 [DVD] Buy new: £12.98 / Used from: £6.98 Amazingly gritty - HBO showing us how to make it real - powerful - engrossing - scary.
	The Office - Complete Series One & Two and The Christmas Specials [2001] [DVD] Buy new: £10.08 / Used from: £8.00 So much of this list seems so obvious - just like this. Extremely funny - wonderful character development - somehow you knwo they are real - you laugh at them but you worry about them too.
	Shakespeare ReTold [DVD] [2005] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £4.24 Worth it for Midsummer Nights Dream alone - but all are excellently retold for the modern age - without loosing the original magic but just being that much more accessible. Great TV from the BBC.
	Band Of Brothers - Complete HBO Series commemorative gift set (6 Disc Box Set) [2001] [DVD] Buy new: £15.88 / Used from: £13.97 100% epic TV. Better than Saving Private Ryan - possibly the best of any film or TV series about the war. A masterclass.
	Das Boot - The Mini Series (2 Disc Uncut Version) [DVD] [1985] Buy new: £7.98 / Used from: £5.27 Here we have the second best TV series or film about the war. Brilliant - claustrophobic - wonderful acting - tense - and somehow you care for the enemy. It makes war seem human and real.
	City Of Men (TV Series) [DVD] [2004] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £1.49 Maybe not as great as City of God. But wow this is still a great series. The cast are mainly young and full of life - the series explores the darkest streets and lives of the downtrodden.
