Buy new: £6.99 / Used from: £1.69 The first doorstopper in the mother of all doorstopper series! But I loved Cryptonomicon and I love the 17th Century so I'm champing at the bit, wanting to stuck into these.

Buy new: £5.99 / Used from: £0.01 I loved Raymond Feist's original Riftwar trilogy. Then came a succession of ever-more mediocre sequels and I eventually abandoned Feist altogether. Still, I'm willing to give this series a go.
