prepare for a fairly radiohead-dominated list - my personal fave - (all good albums should be listened to/enjoyed in their entirety so how dare you expect me to list my favourite tracks)

marginally preferable to their debut, due to it being far more experimental and interesting as a result

very competant 2nd album that can get really infectious

immensely absorbing accoustic

full-blooded debut - highly reccommended

immensely satisfying band with an amazingly atmospheric guitar sound (thanks, homme) - debut has to be heard

inspirational, dense sound from excellent desert blues band

curiously underrated latest album, amazingly diverse range of songs from the best

highly accessible new band, with so much energy that you couldn't possibly dislike them

good if not quite as good as qotsa - if like also listen to desert sessions, mark lanegan and perhaps kyuss

great if you want a little more sophistication than their debut - can't convey this band's excellent, cruelly confined to stoner rock category - that's about to change

they don't really need an explantion do they? yeah.. they're necessary

the only universally reconised "classic" on this list, and probably the only one deserving of that title
