	The Yellow House: Van Gogh, Gauguin, and Nine Turbulent Weeks in Arles by Martin Gayford Buy used from: £4.57 A factually written book, slightly distant from the two artists - but a excellent account on what was made and what happened during those nine weeks in Arles.
	The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger Buy new: £4.49 / Used from: £2.30 A book about a school drop out and his views on the nature of modern people; their superficialness, stupidness and unsentimental instincts.
	Down and Out in Paris and London (Essential Penguin) by George Orwell Buy new: £5.39 / Used from: £1.96 An amazing journey through Orwell's time spent in the pits of Paris and his experiences tramping around London.
	Grayson Perry: Portrait of the Artist as a Young Girl by Grayson Perry Buy new: £5.74 / Used from: £3.26 The days set in Essex are very English, the art school days are hilarious and ontop of everything Perry is braving being a cross dresser. Fantastic book. Don't buy this for Auntie Doris
	Strangeland by Tracey Emin Buy used from: £5.00 A bit sloppy, but through it comes Emin's character.
	Rotten: No Irish, No Blacks, No Dogs by John Lydon Buy new: £8.57 / Used from: £4.20 For once, a real rebel. Lydon - and how he fought against being a feeble little nerd, who made it to become "Rotten", one of the most remembered punks of the 70's.
	Basquiat [DVD] [1997] Buy new: £4.88 / Used from: £3.59 I get a great feeling from this film. Jean Michel Basquiat, surviving as a black painter in NY with his close friend Andy Warhol. His work is abstract, experimental and very powerful.
	Amelie [2001] [DVD] Buy new: £3.98 / Used from: £2.40 Twisted and tangled, but eventually the plot of the story is unravelled. A stunning film, beautifully put together with great use of colour.
	Delicatessen [DVD] [1991] Buy used from: £12.84 A really quirky film about the life of the eccentric defectives living above a dank French delicatessen and lots of unplanned events. Fantastic.
	The Apple [DVD] [1998] Buy used from: £49.90 An impressive documentary. The true life story of Iranian twin sisters, completely cut off from outside human interaction, unable to comunicate, treated from others like a freak show.
	The Mole People: Life in the Tunnels Beneath New York City by Jennifer Toth Buy new: £7.31 / Used from: £5.25 Living underneath the city that never sleeps. An unearthered account on the mole people - Amazing.
	Art Brut: The Origins of Outsider Art by Lucienne Peiry Buy used from: £61.95 I'm made up by this book . It's exciting wild images really energises my imagination.
