Easterbrook's reference text is really hard work to get through from cover to cover, so it's best used to illuminate brief answers, particularly when going through the small Pastest 1 - 4 pocketbooks.

The hardest question book around! Good explanations. I recommend using it at the very end of revision, after the other books and web questions. Difficulty is representative of the exam itself.

The psych bit is good. Basic sciences is brief as expected, you need a separate book for that section. In terms of sites, onexamination.com is overrated and easier than the actual exam by far.

The rheumatology section is brief, and a reader will need to cover this better elsewhere. PassMedicine.com is a free set of questions, with brief summaries that should be used further into revision.

I like this book a lot. The ophthalmology section is great. Questions on one side, answers on the reverse, with questions grouped into specialties. Use after the Pastest books, and before Rees'.
