	Spartacus [DVD] [1960] Buy used from: £1.71 Boring. A struggle to watch. Film simply doesn't work. Also badly dated.
	Lolita [1962] [DVD] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £4.29 Gave up after about half an hour. Slow and boring. Hobbled by the restrictive censorship of the day anyway.
	Barry Lyndon [1975] [DVD] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £4.31 Very sssslllllooooowwwww and boring. Kubrick shows contempt for his audience & expects us to sit through this. Well I did. Once. Never again.
	Eyes Wide Shut [DVD] [1999] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £2.25 The companion piece to Barry Lyndon. Just as slow but with even less of a plot. The word empty sums this film up better than any other non-rude words.
	Paths Of Glory [DVD] [1957] Buy new: £4.88 / Used from: £3.50 It's good but not exactly something you'd watch more than a few times. One to admire more than love.
	Full Metal Jacket [1987] [DVD] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £1.21 Very strong & dramatic first half. The Vietnam half is boring (& unimpressive if you've seen Apocalypse Now). Also the ending seems kind of random & meaningless.
	2001: A Space Odyssey [1968] [DVD] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £2.25 Slow & boring, but if you treat it more as an experience than as a film then you might like it. I love it to some degree. If you expect it to be slow then it's not too torturous.
	The Shining [DVD] [1980] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £2.69 Great sets. Decent solid film. A bit overlong.
	Doctor Strangelove (Collectors Edition) [DVD] [1963] Buy new: £3.98 / Used from: £2.70 Not as funny as people say it is. Interesting three storyline structure (war room, army base & bomber). Interesting visuals. Very good but not great.
	Clockwork Orange [1972] [DVD] Buy new: £4.88 / Used from: £2.46 A bit too wordy & unsubtle in places. Overlong as well with boring stiff camera work. Story is so intriguing that it makes up for Kubrick's pretentious shortcomings.
	The Killing [DVD] [1956] Buy new: £3.98 / Used from: £2.29 I was surprised to put this at the top of my list! Very confidently directed with great experimental fractured time line structure. Has barely dated in the places where it matters.
	Stanley Kubrick by Vincent LoBrutto Buy used from: £2.15 Decent but plodding biography.
	Eyes Wide Open: A Memoir of Stanley Kubrick and "Eyes Wide Shut" by Frederic Raphael Buy used from: £3.09 Interesting but unremarkable book about writing Eyes Wide Shut.
	Stanley Kubrick: A Biography by John Baxter Buy new: £6.49 / Used from: £3.89 Very detailed biography. Each film (excluding Eyes Wide Shut) gets a long in-depth chapter. The best Kubrick book you can buy.
	A.I. Artificial Intelligence [2001] - 2 disc set [DVD] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £0.65 Boring. Gave up after five minutes. Film doesn't appeal to me in the slightest.
