a seminal book on the environment. I admit to not thinking much of it, but thats because i grew up with all this info. Its old but i now think righly a core textbook on my undergrad

a good talking point for priorities. Critism is a great skill to have. decide about the controversy yourself starting here.

A real sense of a broad community in ecological throught and natural history presented here. A great read too. US but still relevant to the UK
