Contains all the medicine you need to know to pass finals. Really. It's an absolute bible, everyone should have one. Unlike OHCM, teaches you WHY and HOW, not just a book of lists to memorise.

Everyone has one (including me, although it's a rare day I actually open it and read anything!). Lots of lists of causes, signs, symptoms for those quick-fire ward rounds.

My favourite book ever in terms of style, really chatty, empahsises common things that are asked in exams. But some key content missing, it's fairly unsystematic in the way it covers topics. Use both.

Pretty, and useful for reference (and postgrad apparently) but far far too much to know for your average medical student.

But this one has pretty pictures :o) (I have both, but again, only because I love O&G and you can't fit Impey in your scrubs pocket on labour ward)

The only crash course I own. I got given it by a friend, it's a good book, has lots of clear info about diagnostic criteria - often asked in exams, although not as much as I'd like about medications.
