	Akira - The Ultimate Collection [1991] [DVD] Buy used from: £10.00 Otomo's pinnacle of Japanese animation, a timeless classic, and ultimately essential.
	Memories [DVD] [1996] Buy used from: £7.49 A moving, and totally haunting 3-piece anthology, in which Otomo wrote and produced, including an adaption of one of his earlier manga shorts, Kanojo No Omoide.
	Steamboy [DVD] [2005] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC] Buy used from: £13.49 Otomo's latest Steampunk feature, which although isn't his greatest work, is still totally worth watching. Also, the Director's Cut is the better version, its a glorious huge boxset.
	Neo Tokyo [DVD] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC] Buy used from: £22.95 A brilliant and often overlooked gem and Otomo's anime directorial debut, an older brother of Memories. Otomo directs and wrote Construction Cancellation Order.
	Akira: Vol.1: Bk. 1 by Katsuhiro Otomo Buy new: £11.46 / Used from: £7.20 The definition of epic graphic storytelling, and the greatest comic fullstop.
	Akira Club by Katsuhiro Otomo Buy new: £15.49 / Used from: £24.99 Essential for any Akira fans, and briiming with powerful and striking title pages and excellent Otomo art.
	Domu: A Child's Dream by Katsuhiro Otomo Buy used from: £24.00 The second-best known Otomo work, Domu is yet another psychic warfare, except confined to two or three apartment blocks, and fought between a young girl and a senile old man. A one-shot masterpiece.
	Legend of Mother Sarah: Tunnel Town by Katsuhiro Otomo Buy used from: £8.25 I've actually only read some small bits from this, but the Tatsumi Nagayasu's Otomo-esque artwork makes it well-worth the check for die-hard fans.
	Hipira: The Little Vampire by Katsuhiro Otomo Buy new: £9.45 / Used from: £0.34 A delightful read, a Gothic kid's story written by Otomo and lush art by Shinji Kimura. There are some rough translations though, mind...
	Memories by Katsuhiro Otomo Buy used from: £53.58 Memories is Otomo's first and only translated anthology, a collection of experimental shorts in traditional Otomo style. Contains Otomo's breakthrough sci-fi short Fireball and other awesome works.
	Batman: Black and White: 001 by Brian Bolland Buy used from: £5.94 Collection of Batman shorts by many stunning artists, and contains Otomo's riveting Batman story, The Third Mask, in which the other side of the caped crusader is revealed...
	Akira Symphonic Suite by Geinoh Yamashirogumi Buy used from: £7.42 The electrifying Geinoh Yamashirogumi-composed Akira soundtrack. If you liked the film, you'll love this.
	Katsuhiro Otomo Presents - Memories by Original Soundtrack Buy used from: £4.99 Music doesn't get as good as this; the OST to the anthology, including Classical/Opera, Jazz/Funk, and Brass/Steampunk.
	Steamboy by Steve Jablonsky Not the greatest Otomo soundtrack, but still some goode British adventurous classical and heart-pounding muzak.
	Metropolis [DVD] [2001] Buy used from: £4.98 Almost forgot this, its the feature adaption of Osamu Tezuka's classic manga Metropolis, and has Otomo writing the script and Rintaro directing. Very Otomo-ish in tone (the end), and a milestone.
	Metropolis by Toshiyuki Honda Buy new: £8.98 / Used from: £10.77 The accompanying soundtrack to the Tezuka film, featuring some awesome and really unique Jazz tracks.
	Roujin Z [DVD] [1991] [US Import] Never seen this in my life, its so damn hard to locate. I don't know what its like, its very rarely ever discussed...
	Spriggan [DVD] [2001] Buy used from: £10.95 Otomo was a supervisor on this, and from the clips I've seen, it captures Akira's fluid action scenes very well.
	Spriggan Buy new: £18.49 Haven't heard this yet, but I definetely will after I watch the film...
	Harmagedon [DVD] [1983] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC] Buy used from: £11.43 Before Metropolis, and after Neo Tokyo, Otomo collaborated with Rintaro again for Harmagedon. Another film Ive yet to see myself...
	Crusher Joe: The Movie/The OVAs [DVD] [2003] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC] Buy used from: £60.40 Otomo served as a guest character designer on this for Arakune.
