Ahh, anatomy. Very tricky for those who, like me, have a poor sense of direction. Good pictures are therefore ESSENTIAL. (Of course I used an older edition... gosh I feel old).

All you need for histology.

Pharmacology is tricky. This book gives good explanations, but you need to memorise a couple of hundred drugs for med school. Best way? Index cards. Drug name one side, mechanism of action other side.

The birds and the bees, with nice diagrams.

Excellent book - if your course covers experimental psychology.

I think this is the book I used for Neuro... but it obviously hasn't stuck in my memory!
