I recently rewatched this old favourite of mine, and was pleasantly surprised. It was better than I remembered! You can be teenager only once in your life (thank God!) but you can watch this forever!

I cannot watch the first film anymore, because, like the old diary for Celine, it painfully reminds me of how much more romantic and pure I was when I first saw it. Thankfully there is a sequel!

Godard = God + Art. I think his true creative peak has been within last two decades. His films from the 60's may have more historical value (you know, Novelle Vague) but not nesseseraly artistical.

My favourite Tarantino. It is, after all, his most Rohmeresque film (and that goes beyond its supreficial trash movie references). That means a LOT of talk. I like chicks with mouth (and legs)!
