Iron MaidenIron Maiden by Iron Maiden
Buy new: £9.78 / Used from: £5.99
Where it all started! Maiden's first studio album, and a classic indeed. This proves that Paul Di'Anno is as much as a match as any to Bruce, as this is an absolutely fantastic album. Five stars.
KillersKillers by Iron Maiden
Buy new: £5.28 / Used from: £3.27
Album 2, and Maiden continue to make a name for themselves. Not as good as the debut, but this is not a weak album. Four stars.
The Number of the BeastThe Number of the Beast by Iron Maiden
Buy new: £5.38 / Used from: £2.77
Now Bruce joined Maiden, and they went from strength to strength ever since. One of the best metal albums ever. Five+ stars.
Piece of MindPiece of Mind by Iron Maiden
Buy new: £5.28 / Used from: £3.44
A new drummer, and the lads are as good as ever. A fabulous album. Four+ stars.
PowerslavePowerslave by Iron Maiden
Buy new: £5.28 / Used from: £2.97
If Number Of The Beast was great, this is absolutely flawless. Regarded by many as Maiden's best ever work, and indeed some of the best music ever made. Five++ stars.
Somewhere in TimeSomewhere in Time by Iron Maiden
Buy new: £8.18 / Used from: £4.96
The 'Golden Era' continues. Not a classic in the same vein as NOTB or 'Slave, but still a very good album. Four stars.
Seventh Son of a Seventh SonSeventh Son of a Seventh Son by Iron Maiden
Buy new: £5.38 / Used from: £3.44
This is a brilliant album. Considered to be a concept album telling the story of the legend by the same name, this was the band's last album before they began to seriously decline. Five stars.
No Prayer for the DyingNo Prayer for the Dying by Iron Maiden
Buy new: £8.18 / Used from: £2.89
After Adrian Smith, half of Maiden's guitar duo, left the band, things turned nasty. This album just lacks the Maiden magic we'd all come to expect. Very disappointing. Two+ stars.
Fear of the DarkFear of the Dark by Iron Maiden
Buy new: £5.18 / Used from: £3.78
This album suffers from the same problem as the previous, although it is marginally better, and the title track is one of Maiden's greatest hits. Three stars.
The X-FactorThe X-Factor by Iron Maiden
Buy new: £5.98 / Used from: £3.74
With a new frontman, things begin to pick up from the last two albums, and this has a refreshingly dark feel. It's not traditional Maiden, but it's damn good . Four+ stars.
Virtual XIVirtual XI by Iron Maiden
Buy new: £8.98 / Used from: £1.98
Not as good as X-Factor, this album seems to mark the beginning of another decline in the quality of Maiden's work. Three stars.
Brave New WorldBrave New World by Iron Maiden
Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £2.95
The twelfth Maiden album, and both Bruce and Adrian return. Now, alongside the new guitarist (Janick Gers), Maiden were back! A brilliant album. 'Nuff said. Five stars.
Dance of DeathDance of Death by Iron Maiden
Buy new: £5.28 / Used from: £2.99
The most recent album. Three years into the reunion, the six-strong gods of metal produced one of their best albums yet. A perfect continuation to the epic Maiden journey. Five+ stars.
