	L'Homme Blesse [DVD] [1984] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC] One of the films that keep on moving me : dark story of an amour fou of a naive, lonely teenage boy for an older male prostitute.
	Law Of Desire [DVD] [1987] Buy used from: £5.84 Like the previous one, but different thanks to Almodovar's notes of absurdity and humour.
	Total Eclipse [DVD] [1997] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC] Buy used from: £6.43 Leonardo DiCaprio in a role you will never see him play again. Who else could have played the wild and eccentric 19th century poet Arthur Rimbaud. David Thewlis is as great as always.
	My Own Private Idaho [DVD] Buy used from: £2.48 The late River Phoenix, his friend Keanu Reeves and a hint of Shakespeare. First great movie by Gus van Sant.
	My Beautiful Laundrette [DVD] [1985] Buy used from: £4.23 Allthough it is a portrait of Great Brittain's Thatcher era, the movie is an all time masterpiece
	Criminal Lovers [2003] [DVD] Buy new: £10.98 / Used from: £3.96 More than his adaptation of Fassbinder's "Gouttes d'eau sur pierres brûlantes", I like this charming but very modern "Hansel and Gretel" tale.
	Salo, Or The 120 Days Of Sodom [DVD] [1975] I have seen this film in its early days but today it is still as shocking. Unchallenged.
	Mandragora [1997] [DVD] Buy new: £8.07 / Used from: £7.00 The grim reality of juvenile prostitution in Prague after the "Fall". A shame for humanity.
	A Hole In My Heart [DVD] [2004] Buy new: £12.98 / Used from: £2.62 Still very young this one, but I know I will always be shocked watching this movie. Where will this end ?
	Y Tu Mama Tambien (And Your Mother Too) [DVD] [2001] Buy used from: £1.74 The DVD's commentary version is not to be missed. Great actor : Gael Garcia Bernal.
	The Doom Generation [DVD] [1998] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC] Buy used from: £18.23 America's hope Greg Araki. The title is self explanatory, yet the film is not moralistic. PS : spot the main actor James Duvall.
	Ken Park (Uncut) [DVD] No man's land between porn and art : pornography ?
	Presque Rien [2001] [DVD] Buy new: £19.59 / Used from: £13.50 One of my favourite "coming of age" movies.
	Weekend [1967] [DVD] Buy used from: £39.90 End of sixties, marxist landmark, Unimaginable nowadays.
	Luis Bunuel DVD Collection - Vol. 2 [1977] Buy used from: £54.90 Seventh art and dadaism. Bunuel was a milestone and very influential for today's Spanish directors, such as Almodovar.
	Death In Venice [1971] [DVD] Buy new: £3.97 / Used from: £3.50 Visconti's masterpiece. As inward and poetical, as his other masterpiece "La Caduta degli dei Dei" is outward and brutal.
	The Conformist [DVD] [1970] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC] Buy used from: £29.00 Bertolucci's best. A real tour de force.
	The Idiots [1999] [DVD] Buy new: £6.98 / Used from: £4.44 Von Trier's last "Dogma" product, before his move to more mainstream und dull movies like "Dancer in the Dark".
	Festen [DVD] [1999] Buy used from: £12.99 Charming product of the other "Dogma" director, Vinterberg.
	Shame [DVD] [1968] Buy new: £4.98 You may not like the dull movies of Ingmar Bergman, but this one is enjoyable for everyone, and still very Bergman.
	The Sacrifice [DVD] [1986] Buy new: £9.78 Hermetic masterpiece, Hungarian avant-garde.
	Last Year at Marienbad [DVD] [1961] [US Import] Buy used from: £765.00 You'll never know, is it a dream or did they really meet. Astonishing imagery.
	And the Ship Sails On [DVD] [1983] [US Import] Buy used from: £55.00 Great mise-en-scène. Fellini's best, together with "Amarcord"
	Malpertuis ( Malpertuis: Histoire d'une maison maudite ) [DVD] Buy used from: £22.00 Best Belgian movie ever, "MALPERTUIS" by Harry Kümel, starring Orson Welles. Greek mythology meets horror.
