	Midnight Cowboy [DVD] [1969] Buy new: £4.48 / Used from: £2.85 The beauty is in the detail. Only seen when watched over and over again. This is what it would have been like in New York in 1968.
	Annie Hall [DVD] [1977] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £2.50 The funniest film about romance. Touching.
	Days Of Wine And Roses [DVD] [1962] Buy new: £2.98 / Used from: £4.75 You'll never drink again! At least not while you watch this.
	Woodstock: The Director's Cut [1969] [DVD] Buy new: £5.88 / Used from: £4.10 I've watched this at least 500 times. Feel the warmth of the sun on your back.
	All The President's Men (2 Disc Special Edition) [DVD] [1976] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £4.25 The best film about journalism ever made. Even shown to you at college.
	The Commitments (Special Edition) [DVD] [1991] A great ensemble cast. A film about wishful thinking. Great music too.
	Rosemary's Baby [1968] [DVD] Buy new: £5.98 / Used from: £3.15 Genuinely creepy. The music doesn't help. This could happen!
	Tootsie [DVD] [1982] Buy used from: £1.27 No one has ever looked more like a woman. Bill Murray is the clincher.
	David Essex Double Bill - That'll Be The Day / Stardust [DVD] [1973] Buy used from: £19.98 A fantastic double act. David Essex just about pulls it off. More a couple of timepieces really.
	Interiors [DVD] [1978] Buy new: £3.88 / Used from: £2.63 Allen does Bergman, only funnier. Geraldine Page is sublime.
	Whatever Happened To Aunt Alice? [1969] [DVD] Buy used from: £17.50 No one does brittle and frost like Geraldine Page. She's the star of this camp horror show.
	Clockwork Orange [1972] [DVD] Buy new: £4.88 / Used from: £2.44 Bolt your doors as you watch this. It's happening outside.
	Play Misty for Me [DVD] Buy used from: £4.53 Clint's never been better and neither has Monterey. Who wouldn't want to live there, sans Jessica Walter.
	Threads [DVD] [1984] Buy new: £6.97 / Used from: £5.85 More terrifying than any horror film. It's still possible. Gulp as the tension mounts then put the news on.
	Misery (Special Edition) [1991] [DVD] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £1.06 Kathy Bates is never better. The weather makes the film. Chilling.
	Sideways [DVD] [2004] Buy new: £3.98 / Used from: £0.01 A wonderful soundtrack to a film all about loneliness.
	Taxi Driver [DVD] [1976] Buy new: £4.48 / Used from: £1.98 When New York was dark and mean, and Robert De Niro appeared in good films.
	Don't Look Now [DVD] [1973] Buy used from: £2.99 Atmospheric chiller. Spooky blind women, forbidding churches. It's all here.
	Charly [1968] [DVD] Buy new: £5.48 / Used from: £4.26 A very Sixties curio. Plain weird. But engrossing nonetheless.
	Seance On A Wet Afternoon [1964] [DVD] Buy new: £9.88 / Used from: £7.99 With a story way ahead of its time, this Sunday afternoon chiller is not to be missed.
	The Omen [DVD] [0000] Buy new: £7.97 / Used from: £0.21 Never tire of this one. Great cast, great story, nice shots of Windsor Safari Park.
	Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore [DVD] [1974] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC] Buy used from: £4.44 Great soundtrack and interesting cast. Why isn't this on region 2?
	Secrets & Lies [DVD] [1996] Buy used from: £8.00 The best film about family and race ever made. I've watched it again and again and again.
	Requiem For A Dream [DVD] [2001] Buy new: £4.18 / Used from: £3.49 Don't do drugs kids! No really, after this, you'll not even think about it. Menacing soundtrack.
	Ghost World [DVD] [2001] Buy used from: £0.86 Early glimpses of Scarlet Johanssen. A wonderful story.
