	Our Friends In The North (4 Disc Set) [DVD] [1996] Buy used from: £115.00 Christopher Ecclestone, Daniel Craig and Gina McKee with dodgy newcastle accents in one of the bravest and best tales of friendship and time the BBC ever did (and wouldn't know how to do again).
	Teachers: Series 1 [DVD] [2001] Buy used from: £3.11 Funny, intelligent and fantastically shot. Pitch black comedy (and you forget Andy Lincoln was 'Egg' after 2 minutes, thank God!)
	Teachers: Series 2 [DVD] [2001] Buy used from: £3.79 Even better than the first series. More character depth, more emotion, and more strange goings-on in the background (watch carefully..)
	Ultraviolet - Complete Series (2 Disc Set) [DVD] [1998] Buy used from: £17.00 This is the 21st century, and fans of Buffy should shut up and watch this, and realise that Buffy is insultingly disposable American trash. Eco-drama of the last 10 years, easily.
	Cracker - The Complete Collection [DVD] [1993] Buy used from: £22.99 Coltrane is awesome as the first of a long line of 'alcoholic, screwed-up cops on the edge who have dodgy accents and smoke a lot and actually make it look cool'.
	The Book Group - The Complete First Series [DVD] [2001] Buy used from: £3.22 Surprisingly ace considering it's primarily supposed to be about middle class saddo's just sitting about talking about Kerouac and Tolstoy. Watch this and shut it.
	Boys from the Blackstuff [DVD] [1989] Buy new: £8.98 / Used from: £7.93 Gritty, insightful, realistic, quotable. Again, the type of cutting edge programming that the major TV stations would never dare make again.
	The Singing Detective [DVD] [1986] Buy new: £10.97 / Used from: £10.00 Possibly the most influential drama of the last 25 years, this was the jewel in the BBC's crown in the 1980's. All of Dennis Potter's work should be released, reasessed and revered.
	Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit [DVD] [1990] Buy used from: £14.99 The BBC's brave 1990 drama attempting to prove that in a loving relationship between two lesbians, one of them must be a ginge.
	Queer As Folk - Definitive Collector's Edition [DVD] [1999] Buy used from: £11.00 Channel 4's righteous drama proving that to be into Doctor Who, you must be a gay.
	The Second Coming [DVD] [2002] Buy new: £9.88 / Used from: £2.50 Intellectually, respectfully and affectionately proving that organised religion is a load of dirty pants and socks mixed up in a vat of Toffos.
