	Organic and Biological Chemistry by John R. Holum Buy used from: £883.55 Organic chemistry - it's a bit on the expensive side, but buy this and read the unorganic part at the library...
	Behavior and Medicine Buy used from: £5.40 Very American if you know what I mean - but probably one of your best bets. Either this or the Danish "Psykologihåndbog"
	Molecular Biology of the Cell [Book and CD-ROM] by Bruce Alberts Buy used from: £28.00 I know it's huge, but it really is THE book!!
	Medical Physiology by Walter Boron Buy used from: £36.00 Definetly better than Berne & Levy (Burn-it'n'leave-it) although maybe a bit more detailed than it has to be... Great for the cellular bits and recommended for the next semesters as well.
	Principles of Physiology by Robert M. Berne Buy used from: £9.00 But still have to put it in here - the new edition here should've gotten better - remains to be proved, but at least all the drawings aren't pink anymore!
	Textbook of Medical Physiology by Arthur C. Guyton Buy used from: £30.00 I actually never read this myself, but it is supposed to be VERY good!
	Color Atlas of Physiology (Flexibook) by Agamemnon Despopoulos Buy used from: £29.39 Nice for reviewing and for carrying around with you - and great for third semester as well!
	Sobotta Atlas of Human Anatomy: Volume 1 - Head, Neck, Upper Limb by R. Putz Buy used from: £32.07 Expensive, I know, but I couldn't have done it without them! You could always buy an old copy (not much changes in this field anyways!)
	Sobotta Atlas of Human Anatomy: Volume 2 - Thorax, Abdomen, Pelvis, Lower Limb by R. Putz Buy used from: £55.00 - but remember to get it with LATIN nomenclature!!
	Emery's Elements of Medical Genetics by Robert F. Mueller Buy used from: £6.00 Good. But they both are...
	Neuroscience [Book and CD package] by Mark F. Bear Buy used from: £17.00 This is the funniest -and at the same time a very educational!- neuroscience book ever! A lot of pages compared to what you'd have to read in Berne, but this is SO much easier to grasp!
	Neuroanatomy: An Illustrated Colour Text by A.R. Crossman Buy used from: £10.00 Actually read the Danish book recommended for neuroanatomy (not very good), but this seemed a lot easier to understand (but then again I'd already read neuroanatomy when I got this between my hands...
	Human Embryology by William J. Larsen PhD Buy new: £39.89 / Used from: £27.95 So okay, this might be a whee bit more than what they ask of you- but it is AMAZING what the illustrations in this book will do for you, compared to Langmanns! Lectures use illustrations from this...
	Langman's Medical Embryology by Jan Langman Buy used from: £2.52 It's not a bad book. Larsens is just better. And considering you might understand Larsen easier, then..?
	Medical Statistics at a Glance by Aviva Petrie Buy used from: £14.94 DON'T waste your money!! You have SO many books to buy, so if you have to read this, do it at the library or borrow it!!
	The Anatomy Coloring Book by Wynn Kapit Buy new: £18.35 / Used from: £4.87 Nice for when you get sick of repeating the insertions of every darn muscle over and over again - just paint it!
