Interresting pseudo science.
Yes, I bought this audio CD and read the cliams, used it for a month with my wife and have lent it to several friends since then. I've been into Light & Sound Entrainment devices and technology for over 20 years and I'm always amused at audio Entrainment that promises to increase your brain's natural Alpha 8-12cps (Relaxing-Creative-Imagination) Theta 4-8cps (Meditation) or Delta 0-4 cps (Sleep) waves. Entrainment, and rest assured that's the only scientific principle used here, by definition is the ability of your brain to synchronize with external stimulas from flashing lights or audio at these specific brain wave frequencies. Here's the rub, or problem with this CD as well as every other Audio CD claiming to enhance, change or amplify your brainwaves. Light Entrainment is 10 times more effective than Audio Entrainment. The National Institute of Mental Health, the VA, the NIH, and numerious major universities are doing research with Light Entrainment and have so for many years. The scientific data compiled that isn't funded by the manufacture of these CDs or Light & Sound machines says overwhelmingly that Light is VERY effective entrainment driver and Sound is VERY Ineffective as an entrainment driver. Not one of us had any typer experience using this CD. For a little more you can get into Light and Sound Machines that Science has PROVEN will let you be more energized, creative, learn faster, sleep deeper, etc., by ACTUALLY changing your brainwaves. Neurosync behavior modification techniques use these same scientific principles. After having evaluated and shared this CD with so many others, I'm sorry that I cannot recommend it.

If you buy one only self improvement book in your entire life, buy Super Brain Power! Using hard science, user testimonials, and his own personal experiences, Dane Spotts combines a compelling vision of human potential with a practical user's guide for achieving profound personal growth and higher states of consciousness. Included with the book is an audio CD containing two soundtracks plus an instruction session (performed by the author) describing how to use the CD.

By itself, I found the book contains a tremendous amount of useful information and the "Mind Development Tools and Workshops" were easy to understand and simple to apply. The bibliography is extensive and the personal testimonials and CIA Purchase Order were amazing to say the least. The book is well organized and Mr. Spotts is obviously passionate about his subject. (The chapter on "The Way of The Mind Warrior" was truly inspiring.)

The addition of the CD, however, dramatically enhances everything in the book. After I listen to the soundtracks, the words have more meaning. I am able to comprehend and process concepts more easily. My mind is clear while at the same time I feel a tremendous sense of peace and relaxed enjoyment. It is an amazing experience that I continue to recommend to everyone I know.
