Product Description

Regrowing Hair Naturally is a book for men and women who suffer from abnormal hair loss or have lost all their hair, either just on the head or on the entire body.
The book is unique in that it shows the true underlying causes for hair loss which are often not recognised by dermatologists or trichologists. A large section of the book deals with ways of counterbalancing these causes with natural means and therapies which work WITH the body and not against it. Hair regrowth is possible, even after years of baldness.

Editorial Reviews

From the Author
Losing your hair might not be a life-threatening matter, but it is certainly extremely distressing. An increasing number of younger men and women are suffering from hair loss these days, and conventional medicine has very little to offer that is non-toxic to the body. Adding chemicals to a body which is already struggling with toxicity often makes hair loss worse and obscures the cause of the hair loss even further.
Regrowing Hair Naturally shows how natural remedies and therapies can help the body detoxify and rebalance itself so that it can grow healthy hair again. The book contains a great number of useful addresses and self-help advice which the reader can put into practice straight away.
This particular edition comes with a free self-hypnosis CD for stress reduction.

Latest research on help with hair loss5
This is an exceptional book. It is clearly laid out and deals with the latest research into the causes of hair loss in men and women. What impressed me is that the author doesn't just speak about 'hormonal problems' or 'autoimmune dysfunction', but she actually tells us WHY the hormones are not working and WHY the autoimmune system is overreacting and attacking the hair follicles. The book also gives a great number of very useful advice how the reader can help themselves by doing some tests, having their dental fillings sorted out and checking whether they have parasites in their body as toxic metals and parasites according to Vera Peiffer, can cause hair loss. She also recommends a great number of natural remedies and therapies that can help hair to regrow. The last section gives lots of case histories of people who have been able to regrow their hair with the help of the methods described in the book. Highly recommended for anyone who has a hair problem!

Getting your hair back without chemicals5
I loved the book! I have read many books about hair loss, but most of them just talk about what chemicals you can put onto and into your body to make your hair regrow. As I don't like chemicals, I will certainly check out the herbs that are recommended in the book, and I have already had some fillings in my teeth changed as the book recommends. The best book I have read on the subject.

Hair without stress5
Hair loss is a subject that is disturbing to most people at some stage of their lives. Inevitably, perhaps, it is most worrying to younger men and older women, mainly because it affects most older men and few younger women.

But these are by no means general rules and Vera Peiffer has drawn largely on her own traumatic experience at the age of only 14 when hair loss dramatically struck and treatment served very little more than to increase her state of stress, which itself aggravated the condition.

So in writing this book she is offering no prescriptions that have not been put under the microscope of her own experience.

Peiffer has written a portmanteau book - which is none the worse for that. Indeed, it is a major part of the book's success (and success it is!) that it does not merely address the issue of hair loss from the cause, effect and remedial bases, but addresses health and wellbeing in general, from the point of view of stress, since this, in Peiffer's estimation, is equally responsible for hair loss.

This is not really a surprising conclusion. Negative stress, that is anxiety, as opposed to positive stress, tension, will have a profound effect on body, mind and spirit. If we are suffering from any form of physical complaint, worrying about it will aggravate the condition.

So it is good that Vera Peiffer has devoted a large part of her book to anxiety and how to deal with it. Indeed, the copy of the book that I have includes a CD for self-hypnotic relaxation as an aid to hair growth.

In fact I cannot think of any aspect of hair loss, treatment, recovery and the physical and emotional control of body and mind associated with hair loss, that has been neglected in Peiffer's book. She deals with the causes, types and conditions of hair loss in the first part of the book; conventional, complementary and alternative forms of treatment in the second part of the book, and a final section covers a whole range of ways in which sufferers can be helped and can help themselves to feel better about the condition.

And it is so wonderful to find a book devoted to help sufferers and not simply to separate them from their cash by offering patent remedies.
