Product Description
Although it has been available on motorcycles starting in 1980, most mechanics and consumers know very little about electronic fuel injection and its use on motorcycles.
All that has changed with the publication of "The Motorcycle Fuel Injection Handbook" by Adam Wade. Currently available worldwide, this member of the "Motorbooks Workshop" series from Motorbooks International educates consumer and mechanic alike about the basics of motorcycle fuel injection. Covering everything from engine and combustion dynamics to a comprehensive overview of aftermarket strategies and devices, it sets the standard for the understanding of and knowledge about today’s motorcycle-based fuel injection.
Whether you’re a dealership mechanic trying to simplify diagnosis, modification or repair, a bike owner trying to understand how to improve performance, or just someone who is generally curious about what’s "under the hood", this book is loaded with tips, information, and examples to help everyone understand the new wave in motorcycle technology.

Editorial Reviews
From the Author
I worked very hard to maintain technical accuracy while making the concepts understandable to everyone from layperson to dealership mechanic. I am pleased to be able to bring this book to readers everywhere, and help understand not only the hardware, but the principles behind things like sensor location and injection strategies.
About the Author
Adam Wade spent a number of years as both an automotive mechanic specializing in fuel injection and an automobile restorer before his riding bug pushed his career over to the world of motorcycles. In the 10 years since then, he has worked for dealerships large and small in varying capacities, has been a successful AMA Pro Racing mechanic, and worked for Emgo, Aprilia, and Factory Pro Tuning. He currently is the tech author and photographer for Dual Sport News, and is also a successful freelance motorsports photographer. He hand-rolls his own cigarettes, and prefers riding alone and with no particular destination to group rides. He chose a black and white jacket photo to help hide the fact that, at 36, he is noticeably graying. He also fights Fibromyalgia daily.
