Synopsis
A brother and sister on spring break from college decide to take the scenic route home--an endless, desolate stretch of road through central Florida. Along the way they are run off the road by a strange truck, and later they see its driver disposing of what looks like a human body down a drainpipe near an old church. Derry (Justin Long) convinces his older sister, Trish (Gina Philips), that they have to investigate, and despite all better judgment, they do. That's just the beginning of this wild horror film, directed by Victor Salva (POWDER). Salva keeps the audience guessing by never settling into any particular style or formula. The film veers gleefully in all directions, referencing such classics as NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, and even THE TERMINATOR, along the body-strewn way. There is no shortage of clever humour amid the shocks, gross-outs, and nail-biting suspense, and Philips and Long exhibit a refreshingly believable brother-sister rapport. The supporting cast includes Patricia Belcher as a psychic and Eileen Brennan as an eccentric cat owner. Francis Ford Coppola is the executive producer.

FAB!!!! THE BEST!!!!
I absolutely love this film! And I'm not a big fan of monster films!
The two fresh faces - Gina Phillips (no recent film) & Justin Long (most recent film is Die Hard 4.0) - are such great actors! What a great film to debut in!
The plot of the film is basically, brother and sister are driving home for spring break (film is set in the states obviously), and out of nowhere, some crazy in a battered zooped-up lorry tries to drive them off the road..
The pair later see the same lorry parked in front of an old abandoned church, the driver is throwing some things down a pipe. The pair slow down, like you do and stare... The driver notices them and just stands there looking at them back. He is then out of shot and you can see him, a few seconds later, speeding up behind them.
And, from then on, the driver is after them...

This film will have you on the edge of your seat and by the end of the film, you would of built up a bond with the characters. You will cry, I did, when the climax of the film starts!

It is an amazing film. Except for Gina, this film was the making of Justin Long! He has since worked with big names like; lindsay lohan & bruce willis!

Great film
This is a great horror film (scary)
with a bit of fun throw'en in.

Jeepers creepers were did you get those peepers
wow! from start to finish this movie had me eating pop corn! ( I eat pop corn in a movie when im scared!) augggghhhhh! just thinking of that jeepers creepers man standing and in his long coat and hat and staring at those poor kids as they drive past him in the beggingin really creeped me out! nice twist at the end aswell!
