showcase for skill and daring but little artistic merit and no conversation or commentaries to add to the interest
There's no doubting the action on these discs shows people with great skill and courage performing really exciting and difficult looking manoeuvres and routines.But there is little or no conversation about what is happenig before your eyes and I found that each disc becomes repetitive after about 10 minutes ( and some of the discs are 2 hours long).The skiing is undoubtedly the best sport to watch because you get to see some artistry mixed with all the danger and tricks.Not dvds that you can watch time after time but if you can get the box set for a couple of pounds or thereabouts like I did you'll think the purchase was worthwhile.If you just want to chill out to some rock music ( music no lyrics)you may find this box set more appealing than I did.
