Forgotten your glasses
If you are one of the many middle aged people who refuse to admit they need to wear glasses, don't need glasses to drive but still want to use the map book, and don't want to be spoken to sternly by some electronic Sat Nav....then this is the map for you.
Clear, but with plenty of detail if you get lost in the back of beyond.Good route planning pages and spiral bound so you can fold it back without the cover falling off.

Great M-way junction detail
Having been used to this map for years when navigating with my parents, I then ended up with a different road atlas that my husband chose. I didn't like it at all, as I'd been used to seeing all the detail at road junctions that the A-Z road atlas provides. So when we needed to update our road atlas, I got to pick this time... No confusion with restricted access at junctions on motorways and dual carriageways again!

Large print but no detail
It's important to note that while this map claims to be 2.5 miles to the inch, it doesn't actually show much useful detail. It just has very big print.
