Great for drinkers who want to pretend they are fit!
None of the walks in this book are too taxing. However, most of them are through pleasent countryside and feature some very nice pubs, which are a rare commodity these days.

The fact that the walks are circular is also an added bonus. I hate walks which essentially have you retrace your steps once you have got half way.

If you are into geocaching it is worth cross referencing these walks with a site like [], as you will then be able to pick up an assortment of plastic rubbish on your route too.


If you fancy an added challenge, spend a couple of hours in the pub before you embark on the walk, then see if you can make it round without needing to go behind a bush.
