Middle-aged single mother and entertainment publicist Suzanne Portnoy leads a double life. Monday to Friday, she's a professional executive devoted to her two adolescent boys. But at weekends she spends her kid-free hours having sex, with a different man each time. Or multiple men. Picking up where her first book, "The Butcher, the Baker, the Candlestick Maker: An Erotic Memoir", left off, this memoir finds Suzanne both confronting the consequences, and enjoying the fruits, of her notoriety as the bestselling author of an erotic memoir. From a coked-up rock star to an uptight millionaire, to a hunky stripper, Suzanne attracts plenty of men wherever she goes, particularly once they learn her identity. But just when Suzanne grows reconciled to the possibility of never settling down, she meets a man who wants to be more than one of her 'friends.' While debating whether to unload her 'portfolio' of men for the potential one true lover, this most unconventional woman ponders the most conventional question: has she found the fabled Mr. Right or will he prove to be just another in a long string of Mr. Wrongs?

SUZANNE PORTNOY: The Not So Invisible Woman
:
AN EROTIC MEMOIR
SUZANNE PORTNOY
Suzanne Portnoy leads a double life. Monday to Friday, she’s a professional entertainment publicist, devoting her spare time to her teenage sons. But at the weekend she has sex. At saunas, sex parties and even at home, usually with a different man. Or multiple men.
Picking up the story where her first book, The Butcher, the Baker, the Candlestick Maker left off, Suzanne finds herself confronting the consequences of her sexual celebrity. Drawn by her notoriety as the bestselling author of an erotic memoir. she attracts a diverse new crew of lovers and rakes, including a coked-up rock star, an uptight millionaire and a hunky stripper. But just when she is growing reconciled to the possibility of never settling down, Suzanne meets a man who wants to be more than one of her ‘friends.’ And suddenly, she has to decide whether to unload her ‘portfolio’ of men for this one man who might just be the fabled Mr. Right.
Her life may defy the conventional, but Suzanne Portnoy finds herself tied up in the most conventional of conundrums: is this Mr. Right, or just another in a long line of Mr. Wrongs?"

Eye opener!
This booked isn't for the fainthearted or the shy.
Its addictive, witty and honest and gives a graphic account of the sexual encounters of a successful woman who is balancing her life between parenthood, business and her very active love life.
Its refreshing in what is still perceived as a male dominated world, to read that a woman is taking control of her sex life, making the most of it and getting exactly what she wants.
Good for her!
Disappointing
I really liked Suzanne's first book, `The Butcher, The Baker, The Candlestick Maker', but this book seems very repetative with many of the stories re-told.
Disappointing - buy the first book but give this a miss.
I love this writer
If you enjoyed Suzanne's first book, `The Butcher, The Baker, The Candlestick Maker', then you will love this book too. If you haven't read it then go and buy both of them together.
Its funny, heartwarming and I read the whole thing cover to cover in two days. Suzanne shares the kind of experinces and life lessons that we don't all get to live but would maybe like too.... 5 stars
