worth every penny
I already had the first CD on this two CD set under the same title released a few years ago recorded live at 'The Rainbow'.
Only difference in releases orginal 2 discs had live in USA on 2nd disc this however has something worth buying the CD for.
It not only has a rare hardly heard interview with Marc by Steve Wright on Reading radio which is as clear as day it was recorded but a well worth small selection of songs not heard anywhere else.
It has Marc singing just him, his acoustic guitar & Gloria on backing live in studio & the sound is fantastic. They sing a lovely version of DREAMY LADY and a rather clever slightly re-written TEENAGER IN LOVE and the only acoustic version I've heard of NEW YORK CITY mixed in a medley with HOT LOVE and GET IT ON.
So a true fan will buy this for the second disc alone.
As for the interview Marc seems happy & enjoying himself not the Marc we've heard in the past. He seemed a guy who knew where he was going & what he wanted.

A valuable addition to any Bolan collection
As the previous reviewer points out, this is a 2 disc CD set, comprising a disc of live performances from 1977, where the set list is dominated by material from the final T.Rex album, "Dandy In The Underworld" & a second disc,with Marc "in discussion" on Reading's Radio 210 from March 1976.
The live disc has done the rounds before & showcases Marc & his band at their tightest. To top off the all round excellent performances of some fantastic Bolan songs, there is a marathon version of "Get It On" with the Damned (support on this final T.Rex tour)joining in with Marc & the band.
The interview / "in discussion" disc, is a real must for fans & collectors. Marc talks about fatherhood, touring, future TV projects, acknowledges himself, the formulaic nature of some of the music he had produced in the past & indeed admits that he knows that he can be "arrogant sometimes and a bit silly".
Marc is very relaxed during this interview & sounds extremely at ease with himself & where life was taking him.
Marc & Gloria do some acoustic versions of T.Rex hits & that old standard "Teenager In Love" & it all sounds effortless - a really good interview,with an interviewer (Steve Wright) who allows Marc to talk freely & conducts the whole discussion in an easy going & informal manner.
A really excellent CD package & even if you already have the "Live At The Rainbow" disc, well worth getting for the second disc alone.
