More Metal BORE- Ru1
I got this 3 DVD box set same day as I got 4 DVD set LOST & FOUND from ebay. Watching them one after another found this set very boring. Don't expect lots of clips of Marc singing as the clips are short (seconds) & what are shown are either pictures with light effects or clips taken from LOST & FOUND & made so small in middle of screen becomes pointless. What annoys me most is YES I know this is more of a music critical guide but why pick many who are obviously NOT real fans or have chips on their shoulders for being dropped by Marc? many had nothing to do with Marc one producer goes on & on that his later hits don't sound as good as Telegram Sam then has nerve to say Marc songs were bad cause they all sounded the same poor guy couldn't win with these people. Instead of enjoying these DVDs as a fan I found after DVD 2 more annoyed & angry at these people. Oh yes it does have Bill Legend but his comments are few plus Herbie Flowers who always talks kind of Marc but Tony Visconti says word for word same as in all other DVDs already available so nothing new there. In all I was much more happier with my other delivery that day already mentioned rare but still can be tracked down.
This 3 DVD box set is unauthorised & not approved by Marc's estate even thou it has clip of Rolan Bolan talking. I know many might want to still buy this for it's build up Marc's career just be aware these people are just saying "I THINK" and not all facts. I mean it even has Trevor Bolder who was with David Bowie at the time what's he know?. Marc 'FINAL WORD DVD is far better than this for facts. To insult fans more if this box set could sound background tracks are not even Marc singing good example TEENAGE DREAM if your a fan stay clear of this dribble

Do not buy this unless...1
Do not buy this unless you are a big fan of Marc Bolan and T.Rex. This DVD adds almost nothing to the DVD named Inside T Rex 1970-1977 A Critical Review . The footage is practically the same, the people speaking are even the same and saying the same things, with the exception of appearing his son and 2 or 3 new interviewees. The others just repeat what they say in the Inside T.Rex 1970-1977 DVD. If you don't have neither of these, go and buy the other. The box is better, you even get a small booklet in it. With this T.Rex Metal Guru from 2008 you get nothing, except repetitions and a bad box.

Bolan deserves better than this. Avoid and buy The Marc Shows or T-Rex On TV instead.
