This is the second volume in a series of three books which started with "DW to Tiger I" and ends with "Tiger I & II Combat Tactics". This volume is layed out in Mr Jentz's easy to read style and format. The book itself covers the design that lead to the Tiger II and covers both styles of turret with the reasons behind their use. Again, he only draws from archival material of the manufacturers and army departments concerned with the tanks development. This book is very highly recommended for German Amrour enthusiasts, hostorians or modellers alike.
