About the Author
Margaret Mayhew was born in London, and has always been fascinated by the history of the second world war. She began writing in her mid-thirties and spent some time living in America. She is married to American aviation author, Philip Kaplan, and lives near Cheltenham.

Found the book slow to get into at first, but later was really hooked I love these stories about the war and escapes and resistance
Excellent story
Excellent story. Very good and you have to finish the book. A real romantic story that does not seem to exist any longer. As usual with all her books, you have to finish them!
