Customer Reviews

The best writer on Tarot today5
Rachel Pollack writes about the Tarot in a way that is both erudite and accessible. Personally, I like her work because of the wealth of mythological knowledge it contains and the fact that it is not too 'new agey'.

On the negative side, I am not sure about the relating astrology to the Tarot (certainly with the court cards there appears to be some doubt) and in a few places the book doesn't appear to have been edited correctly. (Pictures appearing on a different page to the text and a question mark left in regarding missing information). Also, this book probably won't tell advanced readers anything they don't already know from her other books.

However, the book is still an enjoyable read as Pollack writes creatively and rationally.
