Synopsis

Over the top... literally and figuratively...
Easy going GAY satirical spoof of American pie!!!

Interesting look at a especially gay slice of America, where there seem to be little to no hang-ups about being gay... and it gives the movies the ability to fly off the screen and amuse any viewer... who hass an open mind!

Graham Norton - brilliant cameo, in a role, I'd never think he would pull off, but he is effortless in his performance... hopefully, this might be a start for more things to come...

Based on four young gay men, all unknown actors, each bringing out a particular gay stereotype... but interesting enough, not in a negative light!!!

Amazing, that coming out and acceptance isnt so easy for my young gay men!!!

The jokes are crude, but not offensive, the script doesnt take itself seriously, and the actors deliver credible perfomances... well worth stuffing an stocking for X'mas... or any other special occasion...

This film follows the story of 4 gay friends (in American Pie-style, all trying to lose their virginity over the Summer.) The hopefuls include: Griff, a sweet, nerdy runt who secretly lusts after one of his friends; Jarod, a jock-type who feels that size unfortunately does matter; Nico, the most camp and flamboyant of the bunch who's really after a 'seasoned older gentleman'; and Andy, the character akin to American Pie's Jim, who has a penchant for small animals and large vegetables. There's a lot of icky toilet humour in the film and some very graphic sex scenes in the last 20 minutes that will shock some viewers; but it's all in good fun and laughs are to be had throughout the film. Irish funnyman Graham Norton makes a great appearance as Andy's teacher whom he has a crush on; it's a side to Norton no-one has ever seen and a side that is a must-see for his fans! There are a couple of sentimental moments in the film though they're very light-hearted. It's enjoyable to see the typical teenage boy rush-to-get-laid story told from another angle. The cast is great and there are some wonderful minor characters, including a tough lesbian stud named Muffler (very Stifler-esque) and Andy's parents, an ex-marine who tries a little too hard to understand Andy's 'inclinations' and a drag queen-like mother with comically bad make-up who wonders where her vegetables keep disappearing to. All in all a very enjoyable, silly, hilarious movie with a fun, followable story and a really good soundtrack. I'd recommend buying it and watching it over and over whenever you need a serious laugh!

FUNNIEST GAY MOVIE EVER!
Simply the wittiest, most outrageous gay movie ever. Based on American Pie and spoofing several other big name movies along the way Another Gay Movie has more than enough originality of its own to shine.
Performances are great, realistic, unknowns giving as good as they get. The jokes come thick and fast - one liners, the plot itself, visual gags, in-jokes, the laugh-at-gay-life jokes, the laugh-at-gay-stereotypes jokes. It's the most outrageous mainstream gay movie I've seen as well as the funniest - quite graphic sex scenes and acts described so not for kids! but let's face it, REALISTIC (unlike many supposedly gay movies, especially American made ones). I only wish they made more like this.
Only (tiny) negative is the dvd extras - there really aren't any, but the movie is fabulous - I watched twice in two days and I very rarely can be bothered to write a review - so... buy it now, treasure it always and tell all your friends.
