Sexy gay cinema at its best!
I have to say that I completely disagree with the review of 3-Day Weekend, which is a refreshing gay cinema treat that thankfully veers away from the well-trodden 'coming out' narrative and instead focuses on a collection of very different gay relationships.

The film centres around a group of friends who holiday in a remote guest-house every year. To spice things up on their latest trip they each bring along a guest with mixed results! With characters ranging from a sassy rent-boy to a yoga teacher with an aversion to clothes it's not long before chaos ensues.

Although the characters are often quite sterotypical they have much more depth to them than primarily meets the eye, thanks to some original and witty writing. The acting may not meet Academy standards but is solid throughout and with some real laughs, genuine emotion and tons of sex this is definitely worth checking out!

Great story
Love the film. It has a few faults but we can forgive it as the story is great.

Can gay cinema get any worse?
This is a simple awful film. Poor meandering and worthy screenplay made worse by bad casting and wooden acting. Save your money for something else!
