Perfect for fans of Sophie Kinsella, get ready for the summer debut of the year! It's official. Angela Clarke is in love -- with the most fabulous city in the world. Fleeing her cheating boyfriend and clutching little more than a crumpled bridesmaid dress, a pair of Louboutins and her passport, Angela jumps on a plane, destination - NYC. Holed up in a cute hotel room, Angela gets a New York makeover from her NBFJenny and a whirlwind tour of the city that never sleeps. Before she knows it, Angela is dating two sexy guys. And, best of all, she gets to write about it in her new blog (Carrie Bradshaw eat your heart out). But it's one thing telling readers about your romantic dilemmas, it's another figuring them out for yourself ! Angela has fallen head over heels for the big apple, but does she heart New York more than home?

Top Ten Things to Do in New York
1. Visit Bleecker Street
Bleecker Street is my favourite street in New York. There is nothing you can’t get here – dog clothes? Yep. Magnolia bakery filling-inducing cupcakes? You got it. Marc Jacobs branded joy? Yes. Second-hand bookshops? Go on then. Coffee shops? Lots. Snooty record shop workers? of course. Love it.
2. Drink too much hot chocolate at Max Brenner
Honestly, the stuff is like sludge. But how sludge would be in heaven.
3. Destroy your credit card at Bloomingdales
Lots of top brands under one iconic roof. Fab.
4. Cocktails at Little Branch
If you don’t see anything you fancy on the menu of this cool former-speakeasy, just tell the bartenders what you fancy and they’ll whip something up. Something delicious and strong enough to floor an elephant so maybe go easy.
5. See a band at the Bowery Ballroom
I love the Bowery. It’s small and dank enough for gigs to still feel intimate but old New York fancy enough to feel like you’re doing something special. Even if you’re not.
6. Have breakfast at Tiffany’s
It’s practically the law. Go and buy coffee and a danish and stand staring longingly into the windows. Plus it’s cheap which will ease the Bloomingdales induced pain on your credit card.
7. Go shopping in SoHo
Again, not good for the credit card but SoHo is full and brilliant little shops, from top designers to bargain basement retailers. Also, lots of opportunities for coffee stops and star spotting – both cheap and extremely good fun.
8. Take a trip on the Staten Island Ferry
Relive Working Girl and take a trip on the Staten Island Ferry for some brilliant views of Manhattan. And the best part is it’s FREE!
9. Spend an afternoon in MoMA
I love MoMA. There’s so much to see and it’s just such a serene place to be right in the centre of Midtown. Leave lots of time, if it’s busy you don’t want to feel rushed.
10. Hang out at the top of The Empire State Building
It might be a cheesy tourist thing but I still love the views from the top of the Empire State Building.
