A Handbook for Learning Support Assistants
An excellent book for LSAs - clearly set out and explained in 'English'. However, this book would be better if entitled "A Handbook for Learning Support Assistants - Special Needs Pupils" as the book is focussed entirely on children with learning/behavioural and special needs. If the prospective reader is aiming to support pupils with special needs then this book will be the ideal companion and at least is definitely worth a browse through if not a read. If, like me, the reader just wants a general idea of what to expect in the classroom then another, more general book may be the better option.

This book is very well written and is a must own book
Glenys Fox has been able to document all the information needed for learning support assistants, in a way that provides easy access for the reader. Each point is clearly illustrated with bullet points, and refernces. I feel that all students currently training to become support assistants, should own this book, or have at least read it. A valuable text.

A Handbook for Learning Support Assistants
Excellent book, very easy to read and understand. Perfect those working with children that have special needs and directed at inclusion in mainstream schooling.

There are some general areas relating to Teaching / Learning Support Assistants, but definitely aimed more at supporting those with special educational needs.

I would also suggest the purchase of a second more generalised book if you are studying on a course such as cache, NVQ etc.
