A Must Have!
Bought this unit after my wife's existing steam iron packed up. It is incredibly powerful and efficient, but its bulkiness does take a bit of getting used to, particularly after using a small steam iron. The only downside is that because of the powerful spray you really need to purchase the specially made ironing board (Brabantia)(this does not become apparent until you have bought the iron unit and read the instructions), which is constructed so any excess steam drains through the ironing surface and is collected in a sealed base underneath, and then runs down and is collected in a removable container. The board is larger than most and allows large items such as sheets to be completed more easily and quickly. The initial outlay can be a bit of a shock, but I can fully recommend both of these items.

I have never reviewed anything before, but I had to tell everyone how fantastic this iron is.

Its the best, it gets through everything so effortlessly, jeans, cotton shirts no problem. My husband loves it also (he does all his own ironing) it makes light work of his Army uniform and gets great results.

I still hate ironing with a passion but I spend less time doing it now.

Tefal GV 7150 Steam Generator Iron
I thought I was mad spending this much on an iron, especially as I absolutely hate doing the ironing! I cannot find any faults with this, it makes doing the ironing much much quicker, and the finished result is very good. A bit sad to admit but I now enjoy ironing :-)

I also got the Tefal steam generator ironing board with my iron, its ironing surface is about 120cm long and 40cm wide, with a large plate for resting the iron on.
