Warning about "empty magnification"
No 60mm telescope can usefully magnify more than 120x so don't put any value on the claim of 525x. It will achieve that magnification, but it will show no more detail than if you use it at 120x. The two eyepieces supplied give magnifications of 56x and 175x so there is probably a 3x Barlow lens also supplied, which is best left unused.

A telescope like this will typically show a lot of detail on the moon, almost nothing of Mars, a very little detail on Jupiter, the rings of Saturn (just), and will also split some double stars. It is not suitable for deep sky objects such as galaxies.

I have not seen this model, but Tasco is an established brand so it probably works as it should, for the price.

Bought this for my 8yr old and he loves it - it's easy to focus and set up. I got a clear view of the craters on the moon. Yet to look further afield - so far so good!

We love using our telescope, its easy to assemble and get ready to view everything skyward.
Does not take up too much room and has an eye piece to find the objects easily. Buy it!!
