Very disappointing
This is a very disappointing map. The paper is thin and nasty and despite the scale being 1:50 000 the detail is much less good than other maps of the same scale. On arrival in La Palma I immediately replaced it with another 1:50 000 map, ISBN 84-921118-5-2, which is printed on thick, quality, paper and has much more detail - cost was the same, or less. It would be nice to see Amazon offering this map.

Could be better
Printed on rather fragile paper and awkwardly folded this map is getting out of date. Had problems in matching the road numbers on the map to the numbers on the signposts. Also the colouring is deceiving - the bright red colours are the hiking routes and the paler yellow colours are the roads. Caught out several times at first! Good scale though and several other good features (such as marking the main Dragon Trees!) Probably the best easily available map around, but it could be better.
