Very poorly written
I bought this to read to my son. I love teh stories of King Arthur and thought this would be a good introduction to the story.
How wrong could I be, the story is disjointed and so badly written, it is simplified in places to be meaningless. It lack continuity and if each story is to be taken as a short story it should be rounded off. Some chapters seem to just end with multiple loose ends and the next makes no reference to them.
My son became confused with this and I was having to fill in gaps from my memory for it to make sense.
I have no problem abridging stories but do so with some degree of continuity please.
