As good as ever4
the people who seem to have problems with this game tend to be starting out with the big teams and complaining because they're not winning everything. i always thought the point of the (original) championship manager/football manager series was that you start somewhere near the bottom and work your way up, in theory gaining respect from fans and players as you progress, enabling your decisions to have more of an impact and buying yourself more time when things aren't going to plan.

i think this is the way to get the most out of the game rather than treating it as a quick 1 season, winning everything there is to win, and i have always believed the game is created with this in mind, weighted in favour of those who begin small and work their way up, which might be why some people are finding it frustrating.

I think the improvements that have been made work well, and the game has become more realistic and more addictive as a result.

Dont Listen To The 1-Star People5
hello There
Right, Id be the First Person To amdit that i have not been playin these games all my life, n fact I didnt Know About this game till I picked Up 2oo6 manager, And I Thought That it was inctredible..much like real life, and it was a great fun game..So I tried the 2007 game and felt the same way, So I was Eager when This game was advertised, Bought it..and im still playin it to this day..

All Iver got to say to the 1 star Reviewers..GET A GRIP YOU SORE LOSERS!!!!

Ive read all theyre reviews..and All they keep banging on about is, how its got bugs, how they cannot win, and how the game is really rubbish. Well, How about this? dont cry over your losses, pick yourself and move on, I dont wanna know if ur team keeps winning 4-0! at the end of the day It a Result isnt it?...and as for the bugs? thee are None..and if So who cares? does it really go against the enjoyment of the game?

In The End, this game, is Really good!, good Up to Date squads, and thorough enjoyment throughout, You will be Hooked to try and find the perfect striker for your team!

Ignore The 1 Star Reviews..Buy this Game, You Wont Regret it!

Thank You!

Bought this over the weekend to fill a gap. Can't find a MAC Update anywhere on the host site. Football Manager fans know, that every game this side of the millennium, normally requires an update to fix the countless programming errors/bugs. Well if you are a MAC owner, the only place you can find a working patch, is on an obscure FRENCH website. You won't know this though, until you waste your money on the game and spend hours looking for the necessary update.

Torrent sites rarely seed the patch and SEGA cannot be bothered making the patch available! The patch cannot even be found when the link (start menu of game) is used.

What a joke. It took me 24 hours to track it down when it should be readily available.

This game is poorly developed and poorly managed.

Gone are the days when software actually works.
