Seems to work fine
Had a big problem with cats in the garden as every house in the street seems to collect them and have at least two. The types of people who live round here evidently aren't gardeners either! After moaning to neighbours on more than one occasion about the mess being left in our garden on a nightly basis, decided to invest in an ultra-sonic cat scarer which worked fine. But the problem was that the two 9-volt batteries each unit requires only lasted for a month or so and it was getting very expensive to keep replacing them. So I decided to get this mains adapter / extension lead instead. So this means that the repeller can be left running 24/7 and there are no longer any batteries to replace.

Useful
The PIR on the STV610 is very sensitive (which is good) but things like nearby plants moving in the wind will also activate it, so you might want to take that into account if you're planning on using batteries. However it makes much more sense than batteries if you have a high traffic area to cover, & being able to buy BOTH the STV610 & the mains adaptor- for less than some places are selling JUST the STV610, is a real bonus. There is also a 5mtr cable supplied with the adaptor which is handy but it does run out rather quickly. 10mtrs would have been even better, but for the money its a fair deal.

This product is fantastic. It gets electricity from the mains to a cat scarer. Without electricity your cat scarer will not work. If you want to scare cats buy this!!!!!
