Customer Reviews

Great idea, but far too bright!3
My daughter is just getting to the age (3 1/2) when she's afraid of the dark, and having seen these in the Guardian in an article about nightlights thought they sounded perfect.

The idea is really excellent - you can use the light as a torch (to have a peek around the room if you're feeling scared in the night, or need to go to the loo), or park it in its stand and it becomes a nightlight. You don't leave the the charger plugged in when in use, so you can have the light in any part of the room. The batteries seem to hold their charge really well after a charge during the day every few days.

The only thing I don't like about this light is that it's quite a harsh, unnatural light (the bulb is a white LED, I think) and it really is very bright, I would find it difficult to sleep with this next to me. My daughter seems ok with it, but I would prefer her room a bit darker. The Cars Projector Go Glow that my son has is a much gentler light, so I don't know if other designs would be better.

fabulous!5
Had this less than a week and its great! My 2yr old loves his new light, demands it being turned on and waves to it when we turn it off in the morning. We've gone from having a hall light on that streamed into into my room and straight on my pillow to a great glow that is enough for him to see round his room if he wakes up and for me to check on him easily without being bright enough to disturb him. As a torch it hasnt been used so much yet but we were able to read a bedtime story with it one night. Isnt as big as I was expecting but for me so much the better as it will be easier to take away with us especially when we have to share rooms so we dont have to keep a normal lamp on for him!

fantastic5
My 2 1/2 year old developed a fear of the dark and insisted on having her main light on to sleep. This go glow light saved the day, she can have the light right near her bed (unlike plug in night light) and she can pick it up as a torch if she wants to. It lasts ages on each charge and is really sturdy.
