story ok but characterisations were poor3
The central story takes place sometime between episode 1 and 2 presumably (as Kate is not yet an outlaw and there is no mention of her brother's death). The main story is quite good (though I could have done without the Tuck 'The Legend' sermonising which really irritated me).

The real problem for me was the lack of differentiation between the characters voices. Little John was not Scottish, The Sheriff had a cockney accent, rather like Allan's, Guy was posh, and Kate sounded like a man!.

Allan's voice was the only one who sounded anything like the TV version (and Tuck aside obviously as the story is read by the actor playing him!) So the 'Robin said', 'Guy said' etc. prompts in the narration were very needed or it would have been hard to know who it was that was speaking. Otherwise the story was good, if predictable, and unlike Series 3, the outlaws get more of an outing in the story, which was nice.
