A DEVIL OF A SHOW
I have been lucky to appear in this show and it has to be said it is one of the best new musicals around. I also saw it in London and was completly blown away. Rosie Ashe steals the show as Felicia Gabriel. Her rendition of "Evil" is terrific, hilarious and a powerhouse. The show itself is unlike others opening around the same time as there is no weak songs.
A great night out if you ever get the chance to see it.
It was a travesty it closed. Would kill to see another profesional production.
What else can i say .... BUY THIS NOW!
witches please fly back
we saw this musical a week after it opened, & we were stunned, especially the end of act 1 when the witches flew over the stalls up to the circle (ms riding) was right above our heads, I wish I may is a show stopper any one should see, it was such a pity it closed. this hould have run and run for years there are people who have missed one of the greatest theatrical treats of this new century
Outstanding!
I saw this show in London completely by chance. We were there to see Les Mis the next day but went to see this the night before. I really didn't know what to expect from the show, I really enjoyed the film but couldn't see how it could be turned into a musical.
Well I was blown away. Right from the soft lullaby type beginning to the rip roaring climax this show is a must have. It truly is magical. The leads on this CD are fantastic and their voices blend together superbly (and Ian Mcshane isn't half bad, especially as I remember him as Lovejoy!!!).
This show is so simple yet so captivating you don't need to have seen the show to understand what is going on it is really selfexplanitory. Any fan of good all round fun music should own this CD.
