Here is an excellent foundation of H.R. Giger's work for those sci-fi die-hards who appreciate intense subjects in both text and art. This books shows a wide range of H.R.'s various styles, each one drilling through contemporary notions of form, etiquette, and courtesy. It is a no-nonsense expose' of the nightmare-ish alter-dimensional world of Giger's dreams which taps into the source of human fear. I most strongly recommend this and all the other art books by H.R Giger to all folks who can think for themselves, who can put reality, physics, religion, politics, morals, mathmatics, et. al. in their own separate boxes for a moment, and who seek a startling sidebar from the mundane world. After receiving the Giger poster pack as a gift a couple of years ago I became instantly intrigued by Giger's work which is so unique and beautiful. This book perfectly illustrates the portrayal of images and synergy which giger expresses through his landscapes of deformed, yet compellingly beautiful creatures. Truly a genius who does not get the recognition he deserves. An excellent first choice for anyone who is curious about Giger's art.

A Truly mind changing book5
After Buying and watching the Alien Quadrilogy i decided i wanted to further explore the world of Giger.I searched Glasgow high and low for some Giger books but to no avail. This furthered my intrigue so i decided to buy online. I opted for Necronomicon and it is truly an amazing book. It is a wonderful experience to go into the world of Giger. Very very highly recommended to fans of Alien and also everybody else. Very impressed with the speed of amazon aswell.
