Pictures Of My Era
This volume is an excellent book containing colour photographs of trains in and around Clapham Junction. It illustrates services on all the lines that ran, or run, through the junction from South Western steam hauled expresses, EMU commuter services, Brighton Line fast and slow trains, cross London freights, and both the 'Kenny' and the 'Brighton Belle'.
This book brought back many memories of my trainspotting days in the 60's. I can thoroughly recommend this title, any book with a colour shot of a Bulleid electric loco on the 'Newhaven Boat Train' has got to be a good'un.
