Product Description

The ideal follow-on from the highly popular Sociology for AS-level, this stimulating textbook has been written by practicing teachers and examiners with the specific needs of A2 students in mind. The book is divided into seven units: Religion; Power, politics and protest; Social policy and welfare ; World sociology; Theory and methods; Crime and deviance; and Stratification and social differences. Each unit is divided into a number of topics, organized in a consistent and easy-to-follow format. Each topic contains text to develop knowledge, but also a variety of interactive features, including activities to prepare students for synoptic assessment and help them apply theory.

Customer Reviews

A2 Sociology2
Compared to the one written for AS, this is worse. Sentences are constructed in a complex way which makes the difficult to understand. There are 10 topics for one chapter and it is really hard to understand. I bought it because I got an A after studying its AS edition. But now I am disappointed with this book.
