In my opinion......What a piece of S*@t
man oh man i have never seen such a piece of cheap rubbish in all my life. This is a foreign sat nav system ( i know this because it is fitted with a foreign plug that needs a uk converter) that i think must of been made for that market but speedily converted to uk systems.
Just one look at the start up screen (a picture of a 1967 fiat driving on a dirt road next to a corn field) put me off, let alone the fact that the picture kept flickering and the signal was non existant both in and out of the car. And as for the display, well my 3 month old daughter could of produced better detail in her milky vomit.
The holder that holds the monitor onto the wind screen actually screws into the back of the unit making removing it from the car most awkward as you have to basically unsucktion it from the windscreen to gain access. A far cry from the modern tom tom or Navman cradle where the unit slips in and out with no bother at all.
Which brings me onto the signal ariel. An ariel i tell you!! where as the said Tom Tom or Navman (or any other make i can think of) has the ariel build into the unit making it one neat package this satnav has a screw in wire ariel that is three feet long with a reciver the size of a Cadbury's Turkish Delight on the end. All ok if its just sat in your car but what if you want to take it out to stroll around with or to use in a mates car?? (Thats if a signal is at all possible in the first place)
This was a christmas gift that i will be returning to amazon for, i hope a full refund

I was pleasantly surprised how good this Sat Nav is! I didn't expect much as its almost half the price of Cartreks competitors yet its very easy to use, what more can you want!!!

Is this the worst sat-nav in the world?
Honestly - it simply does not work!

How you are meant to detach the unit from the cradle easily is beyond me. And why does it need such a large areal and yet still can't receive a signal?

I bought this for my wife's Xmas present and I have my own unit of a different make so I know how they should work - not like this!

Stick well clear.
