These jam jar covers are ideal for sealing preserving jars filled with your homemade produce. These transparent covers are easy to use and come complete with waxed circles, rubber bands and labels for a professional finish to your homemade jams and chutneys. To use, simply fill a warm jar to the brim with hot jam or home made produce. Immediately insert waxed circles with waxed surface in close contact with the jam while it is still hot. Transparent cover should be applied when jam, produce is either hot or cold. Simple step to apply cover, wipe rim of jar and moisten one side of the transparent cover and place in desired position on the jar with damp side up. Secure with a rubber band and as cover dries it will contract to give a tight seal. Jam cover kit comes complete with self adhesive labels which allow you to write information as required. Jam cover kit is suitable for use with 1lb / 454g jam jars and gives your home made produce a professional finish.
