Pity
Pity the markings are not etched into the body. The scales re simply screen printed onto the unit, once these begin to fall off as they surely will the instrument will become pretty useless.
Good job it's inexpensive but shame ot make it so when for a couple of quid in tooling it would be sooooo much better

Yoghurt Thermometer
This thermometer is sold as a recommended product to use with a yoghurt making machine, which was the reason I bought it. However, it does not give a reading below C 60 degrees, which is useless as I need a thermometer that goes down to C 30 degrees. It may be a good thermometer, but certainly not the one you need for making yoghurt.
